Family Chiropractic Care

Dr. Ken Harman focuses on injury and pain management and family chiropractic care, including
women and children.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Harman moved to North Carolina to pursue his undergraduate
education. He holds bachelor degrees in both music performance and biology from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic
degree from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Ever since suffering a back injury as a child that was resolved through chiropractic care, Dr.
Harman has been a strong supporter of chiropractic healthcare. He has a keen interest in pain
management, injury care and prevention, and in how maintaining a spinal health and correct
posture can affect wellness. By utilizing various chiropractic techniques, including Activator
Methods, Thompson and Diversified, he seeks to help all patients function at 100% of their
ability.

In addition to chiropractic, he maintains a strong passion for music, particularly French horn
and vocal performance, and currently plays with the Reston Community Orchestra. He enjoys
working with musicians and others in all walks of life, and with the birth of his son he has
decided to pursue a specialty in pediatric care as well.

Dr. Harman is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and he is
licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine. He is a member of the American Chiropractic
Association as well as the Virginia Chiropractic Association.

He currently resides in northern Virginia with his wife and son.
